Our Step By Step Guide To Stretch Mark Removal
Consultation
Similar to every skin or laser treatment at Harley Skin & Laser Clinic, our team takes the opportunity to sit down with you to discuss your requirements. During this consultation, we will answer any questions you may have about stretch mark removal and discuss how many sessions are needed to reduce the appearance of your stretch mark. You will receive a test patch (firing a single shot of the laser). Test patches will not show results, they are to predetermine treatment parameters.
During Your Treatment
During your treatment you will be positioned comfortably in our laser treatment room and given protective eye goggles. The practitioner will perform a single pass of the fractional laser over the stretch marks. The area will be simultaneously cooled using a Cryocooler device to make the treatment as comfortable as possible for you. After your treatment aloe vera and a dressing may be applied.
After The Treatment
After your treatment, you may experience some pinpoint bleeding and grazing which can appear as tiny spots on the skin. The bleeding should resolve within 12 hours and the area should fully heal within 4 weeks.
