Losing definition and volume is natural when it comes to ageing lips. Fortunately in the last few years clients that have come to us at Harley Skin and Laser Clinic seeking beautiful and natural-looking lips have found exactly what they are looking for with our non-invasive lip filler treatment.
Lip augmentation commonly known as lip fillers are a fantastic way to achieve fuller, more plump lips through the use of dermal filler injections produced from naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. As a naturally occurring sugar that is found in and acts as a natural cushion for our joints, hyaluronic acid is a key component to the skin’s ability to retain water for a plump, hydrated complexion we all desire.
What Are The Results Of Lip Fillers?
Through the use of natural and safe CE marked lip filler injections our aesthetic practitioners are able to add abundant volume to thin lips and plump the surrounding skin creating the appearance of fuller, more voluminous lips as well as reducing wrinkles for a more youthful smile.
When injected precisely into the lips, our lip augmentation treatments are able to improve the overall shape of our clients lips. Creating more definition and moulding a more symmetrical, desired shape that can be seen as soon as the treatment is complete, only taking a couple days for the initial swelling to go down.
How Long Do Lip Fillers Last?
As with any treatment, you may be asking; are lip fillers permanent?
Usually lasting around six to nine months, depending on the clients individual metabolism, lip fillers aren’t permanent with routine treatments recommended if you wish to maintain your desired look and volume.
Luckily due to this, once the fillers have naturally been dissolved into your body you can book another treatment with our aesthetic practitioners on 01782 611001 to achieve the same look as we can keep a record of both before and after following your initial treatment. And if you desire a new look, you can sit down for a free consultation and we’ll discuss your new lip augmentation treatment and process with you.

Our Step By Step Guide To Treatments
Consultation
Every client who comes to Harley Skin and Laser Clinic for a lip filler treatment will first sit down with a member of our fantastic aesthetic practitioner team who will talk you through the entire treatment ensuring lip augmentation is the correct path for you and to discuss any potential health concerns that may come along should you be on medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Our team will then work alongside you to determine your desired outcome and use our expertise to ensure the required quantity of lip filler is used to get your perfect look.
The starting price for the lip filler treatment is £155 however this will be discussed within your no-obligation consultation before taking any further steps.
During Your Treatment
After you and our team are happy with everything discussed in the consultation stage, we’ll progress onto starting the treatment. Throughout this process, our aesthetic practitioner will do all they can to minimise any discomfort you may feel. To accomplish this we will use a numbing cream to dull the sensation around the lip and mouth area before any injection begins.
The lip filler procedure takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and once done the results will show straight away and take only a couple days for the initial swelling to go down. This is important to keep in mind as the initial look will not completely match your desired look.
After The Treatment
After the treatment is complete you may notice some bruising along with the swelling, this will most likely subside within a couple of days. To reduce the risk of infection, it is advised to avoid touching your lips or wearing makeup on the day of treatment.
Following the filler treatment, you will be provided with a cool pack, should drink lots of water, and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hour following treatment.
